| Telenor talkshawk and The Musik channel bring you The Musik Awards' 08 (TMA), which will honor the biggest and the best of Pakistan’s music industry, offering breathtaking performances by the most popular Pakistani artists.
A Jury comprising of the most prominent & celebrated figures from our media industry will select winners for the 14‘Jury Awards’ categories, 2 special Awards and 7 “Viewer’s Choice” categories will be decided by the viewers of The Musik channel by popular vote via SMS, and/or website polls. The AwardThe TMA award comprises of a globe ‘wearing’ headphones, held up by a spring, with the base being a film reel representing The Musik channel. The metaphor of the film reel is being used because The Musik channel is after all a visual medium which facilitates the music that is being made in Pakistan by virtue of playing music videos. This globe with its headphones symbolizes the universality of music and its international reach. It signifies the peace, harmony and personality of music across nations and its’ unrestricted expansiveness across the world (this is the philosophy of The Musik as it is the only Pakistani music channel, seen globally). |
