Telenor Mobile TV is available for all Telenor Prepaid and Postpaid customers. Telenor Mobile TV is GPRS-dependent service and works best in Telenor EDGE Hotspots all across Pakistan. You can check whether you are in an EDGE HOTSPOT by using our Cell Info Display service click here
Handset Settings
You should preferably have an EDGE enabled handset, with GPRS successfully configured, before you can proceed to download and use the application. To configure your handset for GPRS, please click here. The Telenor Mobile TV service runs on specific handsets and platforms. To see if your handset make and model is compatible with the service, please click here.
List of Channels
For your viewing pleasure, Telenor offers a good mix of channels from the world of entertainment, news, sports, adventure, music and business. All Telenor Mobile TV subscribers can enjoy watching the following channels on the move.
New Subscription
To subscribe to Telenor Mobile TV for the first time, follow the following simple steps:
Step 1: Type TV and SMS to 888.
| You will receive an SMS from the number '601' asking you to confirm your subscription request. |
Step2: Reply to the message by typing Y and send.
| You will receive an SMS prompting you to wait for a following SMS that will contain the user name, password and the WAP link to download the Telenor Mobile TV Client Application on the mobile. |
Step 3: Click on the WAP link to download the Telenor Mobile TV Application on your mobile phone.
Renewing Subscription
Once subscribed, your Telenor Mobile TV subscription will need to be renewed after every 30 days.
You will be notified by SMS (from the number '880') 3 days before the subscription expires. To renew your subscription, just reply to the message by typing Y and send. You will receive an SMS confirming the renewal of your subscription and the new expiry date If you wish to renew your subscription at a later stage SMS "TV" to 888.
Changing Handsets
If you are changing your handset, you do not need to subscribe to the service again. However, you will need to download the Telenor Mobile TV Client Application on the new handset. Follow the simple steps below to download the application:
Step 1: Type MOB to 888 (SMS charges Rs 2+tax)
You will receive an SMS containing the WAP link to download the Telenor Mobile TV Client Application on the new mobile.
Step 2: Click on the WAP link to download the application on the new handset.
To use
Simply click on the Telenor Mobile TV Application icon in your phone, provide your user name and password (received earlier upon subscription) and start watching TV on your mobile.
Forgotten Username or Password
If you have already subscribed to the Telenor Mobile TV service and forgotten your username or password, you do not need to subscribe to the service again. Your username is your mobile phone number in the format 923451234567. To find out your password:
Step 1: Type PASS to 888 (SMS charges Rs 2+tax)
You will receive an SMS containing your password. Enter the username and password in Options > Settings > User Details before your Activate the Channels on the Telenor Mobile TV application. Price
